The NDIS Practice Standards

Registered providers are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards. These are the four core modules that apply to the supports we deliver.

  • Rights and responsibilities

Participants are supported to make their own choices, exercise control over their supports, and have their privacy and dignity respected at all times.

  • Provider governance and operational management

Clear accountability, risk management, quality management and continuous improvement sit behind every support we deliver.

  • Provision of supports

Each participant has an agreed, documented plan of supports that is reviewed with them, and that responds to changes in their needs.

  • The support provision environment

Supports are delivered in safe, accessible environments, with safe management of medication, mealtimes, waste and infection control.

Safeguarding in practice

  • NDIS Code of Conduct

Every worker acts with respect, integrity, honesty and transparency, provides supports safely and competently, and takes action to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation, neglect, abuse and sexual misconduct.

  • Worker screening and training

Workers hold current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, with ongoing training to keep skills current.

  • Incident management

Incidents are recorded, assessed, acted on and reviewed, and reportable incidents are notified to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

  • Feedback and complaints

Participants, families and coordinators can raise a concern with us at any time without it affecting their supports, and can go directly to the NDIS Commission at any point.
